On 13 August 2026, Grapes & Peppers organised its first event dedicated entirely to South American wines, presenting a carefully selected range of representative wines from countries across the continent.
More than a wine experience, the event was created with a charitable purpose: to support people who lost limbs as a result of earthquakes. By bringing guests together around this important cause, Grapes & Peppers demonstrated how wine can help generate awareness, solidarity and positive social impact.
The event was hosted by our director, Waleska Schumacher, while the gastronomic experience was presented by Señor Torres. Although intimate in size, the gathering achieved positive results and created a welcoming environment in which participants could discover new wines, exchange experiences and form new connections.
Following the event, every participant received a report outlining the results of the initiative, together with a certificate of participation.
Events such as this go beyond promoting wine culture. They bring people together, encourage cultural exchange, create new friendships and, most importantly, offer meaningful support to a worthy cause.
For Grapes & Peppers, this first South American wine experience represented an important step towards combining wine, gastronomy, community and social responsibility.
